Daniel Dolan (b. March 21, 1993) is an English born dancer. Dancing since the age of 4 Daniel acquired word wide press interest in the year of 2009, when he was invited to train at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow. He was only the second British dancer to graduate from the Bolshoi’s Russian course and is currently performing with The Lithuanian National Ballet. In 2014 he was promoted to Corpyhee. From Performing in Moscow at the Bolshoi Theatre to appearing on television, Daniel shares his life on this website and through his videos and blog posts.

Daniel was born in Warrington, Cheshire on Sunday, the 21st March 1993. At the age of 4 Dolan started his first Dance lessons after watching his older Sister Amy. His first ballet teacher Annette Thomson said after his very first lesson "that you must never let this boy stop dancing" Later that year Dolan got his first taste of the stage in his local pantomime. Dolan was on the junior associates program of the Royal Ballet and performed with the English Youth Ballet.
He carried on training at Elliott Clarke Theatre School until the age of eleven when he was offered a full scholarship at The Hammond School in Chester.
Here he trained in all aspects of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary and musical theater. Not only did he dance he also enjoyed his singing and acting. During his time at The Hammond he performed and excelled in the annual shows. He also got the chance to perform on Sadler's Wells Theatre and also alongside Birmingham Royal Ballet. His work ethic increased at The Hammond as Dolan took his dancing more seriously, It was well know he was a hard working and this didn't go unnoticed by his teachers. In his final year he was made the first head boy.
Early in the year of 2009 he was offered a place at the the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow. This made international press and brought Dolan regularly into the media from then on. Before attending Bolshoi, Dolan flew to New York attending the famous Juilliard School to enhance his training. In september 2009 Dolan began attending The Bolshoi Ballet Academy. He Graduated in June 2013 and is only the second British dancer to graduate and to collect the famous Bolshoi Diploma while alongside he was also given special honours.
In Late 2013 Daniel joined the Lithuanian National Ballet. In 2014 Daniel was promoted to Coryphee.
